Wedding Layout

 Hello friends!  Today I'm sharing a Wedding layout featuring Creative Embellishments Flourish Corner Frames and Leafy Corner Flourish Set.

I had this beautiful glittery paper collection in my stash and thought I'd give it a play.    The perfect compliment to this collection is the Creative Embellishments chipboard pieces I used to frame this layout.

To alter the chipboard, I painted it with copper colored acrylic paint and then rubbed it with copper waxes. 

 Super simple but it highlights and coordinates with the page perfectly. As you can see there's lots of layouring, embossing and die cuts.  You can see the details of the chipboard in the step out photos below.

Creative Embellishments September Challenge

 Hello friends!  Welcome to the Creative Embellishments September challenge!  The moodboard this month offers so many beautiful starting points and the twist for this challenge is to use Rust.

I created a card set for this challenge.

I simply used the color Rust in various areas of my card set, the background papers, leaves and bow.  I stamped a sentiment and framed it with the Twig Frame and Fall Leaves.

I used distress oxide Ink to color them .  To finish off the cards I added flowers and a bow.  I hope you're join us for the September challenge!  Stop by the Creative Embellishments blog to see what the Design Team created!  Can't wait to see what you create!

Mermaid Tail Shaker Card Set

Hello friends!  Debbie with you today sharing a fun  Mermaid Tale Shaker  card set featuring Creative Embellishments Mermaid Tail Shaker.

I'm so drawn to anything with mermaid themes..My horoscope  sign is a water sign and I just love anything to do with the sea.

I love the colors of these cards and the simplicity of the cards.

 

 

      

For these cards I simply covered the solid back piece with patterned paper and trimmed the excess.

I embossed the outline with Embossing Powder...a glittery mix in a pale aqua.

   

To finish the shakers I added a mixture of sea colored sequins to the inside of the shaker .

I stamped a sentiment and added flowers and adhesive gems to finish it off.

Valentines Day Heart Throb Tag

Hello friends!  Debbie here today sharing a fun Valentines Day tag featuring Creative Embellishments Heart Dangle and Valentines Sentiments.  Valentines Day is one of the most celebrated days of the year!  It's the day of LOVE and everyone has someone to love, whether it's a significant other or a child, parents, sisters and brothers, nieces, nephews or grandchildren.  This year I'm making Valentines for everyone in my life, I'm in the mood and it's one of my favorite days of the year!

One of my favorite color combinations for Valentines day are turquoise's and aquas matched up with pinks and reds.  It makes me happy!  Here is the tag I created with those colors.

    

To alter my chipboard pieces I used Aqua Tinsel Embossing Powder and then decided to add some Gold Embossing Powder around the edges to give it some contrast.

to finish enhancing the chipboard I added Gold Gems to the pieces to coordinate with the  Gold embossing Powder.

Gold twine, white ribbon lace, flowers, a gold metal flower and gold sequins from my stash enhances this fun tag!
