Valentine Shaker Cards

Hello friends!  Today I'm sharing some fun Valentine shaker cards featuring Creative Embellishments Heart With Arrow Shaker and Double Heart Shaker

and Valentine Sentiments.

To make these cards I started out by adhering patterned paper to the chipboard piece that is the bottom solid piece of the shaker.  You have 5 pieces to these shakers, solid piece, 2 pieces that frame the back, the top piece and a piece of acetate.

I started out by painting the top of the Shaker which is the very top of the shaker with Silver metallique paint.  The next step was to emboss it with silver glitter embossing powder.

These shakers come in 5 pieces as well as a clear acetate piece that closes the shaker and holds the sequins, beads, or confetti in the shaker.   Adhere the acetate to the top frame.

Add your sequins or whatever you choose to fill your shaker.

The card base is made with  a red card base, a piece of glitter card stock and 1 piece of glittered patterned paper.  Layer them to your card base.  Time to add your shakers to the front of your cards.

Add your sentiments and you're finished!!!
