Hello Friends! Welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing a fun challenge with you, be sure to come play along for a chance to wind a great package of chipboard! This challenge is one of my favorites! It inspires you to get out and discover something interesting or just get out and have a date with your camera. I chose the latter. I was also inspired by the rustic colors and tried to incorporate those on my chipboard and background.
Our city just built a beautiful botanic garden so I thought I'd venture there and see what I could find. I never made it into the building because I discovered a beautiful Fall butterfly garden. There were hundreds of butterflies flying around, some plants had 20 or more on them. I took lots of photos but this one was one of my favorites. I'll be sharing more in the weeks to come.
To embellish this beautiful photo I used several pieces of chipboard from the Creative Embellishments Store. I started off with the Arched Door Set 2
Berries and Berry Branches and of course you have to have Butterflies set of 5!!! To colors these chipboard I pieces I used colored ink in yellows and greens and browns. I added some copper wax to the top and then inked them up with Versa Mark and added clear embossing powder to give them some gloss.
