Hello friends! Debbie here with you today. I'm sharing some fun Christmas ornaments made with a Mitten Shaker, Santa Hat Shaker, Snow Globe Shaker, Tree Shaker and the Candy Cane Shaker.
These fun shaker sets make the perfect ornaments or embellishments for cards and layouts.
To make these fun ornaments you can follow these easy steps. These Shaker sets come in 4 layers with 1 piece of acetate.
Here are the supplies you will need.
Helmar Craft and Hobby PVA Glue, Diamond dust, Shaker sets listed above, patterned paper, sequins.
Trace the solid layer of chipboard onto patterned paper.
Using Helmar Craft and Hobby PVA Glue adhere the patterned paper to the chipboard. the great thing about this glue is it dries clear and it's very strong so you don't have to worry about the layers of your ornament coming apart.
Adhere the next 2 layers of chipboard.
Paint the top chipboard piece. Set aside to dry.
Add Diamond Dust and sequins to the center of the shaker and apply glue to the edges.
Adhere the acetate layer and the last painted layer to the top of the acetate. Paint the sides.
My final step was to emboss the finished top layer with Silver Tinsel embossing powder for extra sparkle.
Add eyelash yarn and flower to ornaments as shown.
Finally add some ribbon or twine to the back of the ornament and you're finished!
And you're finished and ready to hang your ornaments on the tree!
