Jeweled Christmas Tree and Ornament

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing  a fun and fast Christmas decorations.  These are easy to make and turn out beautifully!
The first project is a con shaped Christmas Tree covered in clear gems.  When the lights shine on this it sparkles like mad!

My second project is an ornament to hang on the tree!!  Super fun and easy to make!

Here is what you will need to get these projects created.  I purchased the first 5 products at my local craft store.
A paper mache cone
A paper mache ornament
flat back gems in various sizes
Gold Acrylic paint
a paint brush

To start your projects, paint both with acrylic paint.  I chose gold for contrast but you can choose any color you like, same for the gems.

Once the paint is dry layout your gems on the ornament in the pattern you like the best.  When you like your pattern, adhere them with Helmar Premium Craft Glue.  It dries fast and your project will be very easy to work on.  While the first side of your ornament dries, start adhering the gems to your cone.

Start with the largest gems and start on the bottom.  go all the way around the cone and then come back and do the second row.  Keep doing this and as you get to the top use the smaller gems.  Whent he whole tree was covered I came back and adhered some of the smaller gems in the bigger spaces.
