Supplies: FabScraps
Free Spirit
Collection C114 and Basic supplies
1/4" score tape, Chalk Ink in Coordinating Color, 6- 12x12 sheets of Card Stock in Coordinating Color
Base page : Coulor Me Happy C114 005
1. Cut 2 pieces of cardstock 5" x 7".
Cut 1 piece of card stock
4-1/2"x 7".
Score 1 on the right and one on the left
at 1/2".
Cut 2 pieces of cardstock 4-1/2" x 7"
aand score at 1/2" on top and bottom
on the 4-1/2" side. Add score tape to
all 1/2" scored sides.
Remove score tape backing and adhere
1/2" scored side to back of 4-1/2" x 7"
unscored card stock. You will now
have a booklet.
Trim your patterned paper to cover
each side of booklet leaving 1/4"
border all the way around.
Inside is covered with Live In Wonder
C114 003 and Dream Catcher C114 007
Secret Garden C114 001 and Feed The
Birds C114 002
For left side flip out: Cut 1 piece of
card stock 12" x 5-1/4" and score on
the 12" left side at 1/2".
Add score tape to the 1/2" scored
side.
Remove Backing and adhere to the
back of the main page at the 1/2"
scored side.
For the left inside panel we will be adding another flip up before we add
patterned paper. (I forgot to take photos of this step.)
Cut 1 piece of card stock 4-1/2" x 7" Score at 1/2" on the 4-1/2" side.
Add Score tape to the 1/2" score on the outside of the scored panel. Fold under neat and adhere to the top of the left flip out page.
Cover all panels with Patterned Paper from the Free Spirit C114 collection.
Ink Tag from DC114 002from the
Coordinated Paper
Embellishments and Beer Board Die
Cut with chalk ink.
Cut 1 piece of card stock 12" x 7-1/2"
and score on the 12' side at 1/2".
Add score tape to the 1/2" scored
side.
Adhere to main page. This is what the
back of your main page looks like at
this point.
Add patterned paper Dream Catcher
C114 007 to the cardstock leaving a
1/4" border all the way around.
close both flip pages and ad
patterned paper to front using
Coulor Me Happy C114 005
Flip top and bottom: Cut 2 pieces of
cardstock in half so you have 2- 6"x12"
pieces. Score one side of each on the
12" side at 1/2".
Add score tape to the 1/2" scored side.
Adhere one to the top and one to the
bottom following the same technique
as the two side flip outs. One will flip
up and one will flip down.
This is the back of your layout now.
Cover the front panels with patterned
paper Feed The Birds C114 002 leaving
1/4" border all the way around
Cover the inside panels with Secret
Garden C114 001Leaving a 1/4" border.
Time to Embellish your layout
Trace 2 envelopes from 8x8 patterned
Paper with card stock using the
Envelope Stencil DS 108
Cut your envelopes out and adhere at
the centers leaving the top flap open
Adhere one on the front of the right
flip out as shown.
Add Cut outs from the Carders Pack to
the envelope
On back of the large cut out bookmark
add 2 photo stamps from the Card
Booster Strips.
Add more Paper Embellishment Tags to
the pockets and decorate the front of
the envelope. I added flowers and
twine from my stash,I also added a
Sticker form the collection to the left
side flip page at the opening.
On front top cover I used a Card
Booster Strip to create a pocket. Insert more tags from the
Paper Embellishments.
Cover a Beer Board Die-Cut with one of
the tags from the Paper
Embellishments packaged tags.Add
another tag to the top for added
sentiment.
Using another cut out from the Carders
Pack make another pocket. Insert more tags as shown.
Right Flip out
Inside or your page when finished.
