Fab Scraps New Collection Days Gone By

Hello friends!  Today I'm sharing one of the new collections from FabScraps called Days Gone By C117.  this beautiful collection has so many gorgeous papers and embellishments to coordinate with it.   This is my first project with the collection called You are Beautiful

To create this layout you will need the following supplies:

Days Gone By C117-003 Seems Like Yesterday

C117-007 A Different Time and Place

C117- 005 Keepsakes

Coordianting 8x8 Double Sided patterned paper 

Card Booster Strips

Carders Pack

DC117-002 Beer Board Die Cuts

Stencil DS113

Envelope Stencil

Additional Supplies: Spray or mist

Gold Metallic Acrylic paint

Modeling Paste

flower dies Optional)  you can used flowers from your stash 

adhesive pearls

gold micro beads 3-12" x 5" piece of thin cardboard

adhesives

hot glue

Gel Medium

Butterfly punch

1. Background:  Using stencil DS113 push modeling paste through the stencil as shown below onto C117-001 Paint a Memory.  Allow to air dry or dry with heat gun.

2. Spray a light mist to the stenciled areas.

4. Choose 2 sheets of coordinating paper from the 8x8 double sided paper.

5. Tear papers to fit fit your photo leaving a border for the photo.

6. Ink the edges of your mats and adhere cardboard piece in between the 2 mats. Set aside.

7. Cut a border strip from C117 007 A different Time and Place.  Adhere it to the center of  your background page, C117-001 Paint a Memory.

8. Adhere your bottom mat  the center of  your background page, C117-001 Paint a Memory.

9. Adhere the mat with the cardboard to the top of the bottom mat.  Adhere your photo.

10. Die Cut 2 large flowers and 2 medium flowers and one small flower.  In addition cut the greenery as shown from C117 -005 Keepsakes.

11. Adhere your flowers. to each side of the matted photo.  Set layout aside.

12. Paint DC117-002 Bear Board Die Cuts with Metallic Gold Acrylic Paint.  Set aside to dry.

13. When your Beer Board pieces are dry adhere them to your layout as shown.

14. Fussy cut the 5 roses you see on Card Booster Strips.  Adhere them to the layout as shown around the other flowers.

15. Punch 3 butterflies. Adhere 2 small adhesive pearls to each butterfly and add to layout around the flowers.  

16. Using gel medium and a brush add gold micro beads to flowers and Beer Board.

Your layout is now complete!!
