It's a Girl Mini Album

Hello friends!  Today I'm sharing a baby girl mini album I made as a gift for a couple I used to work with. I got to know them  before I retired.  He was my new boss and she was a co-worker until her husband became my boss and they transferred her to another work area. Anyway I really liked both of them and we got to be friends before I retired. 

Her color theme for her nursery are dark blue and pink and grey. They are having a baby girl in May and thought the Creative Embellishments It's a Girl Set, Stroller Shaker Set, Bundle of Joy Daddy's Girl Fancy Circle Frame would be perfect for this album.

I framed the cover with Fancy Circle Frame and added the title from It's a Girl Set.  I embellished with flowers from my stash.

to hold the album closed I used a pink velvet ribbon.

On the binding of the album is a small Tim Holtz metal frame.

   

First 2 pages have pockets and each page has a chipboard piece on the pocket.  This album hold tons of photos and journaling tags.

Pages 3 and 4 are also pockets and holds large pull outs for larger photos and a journaling tag.

pages 4 and 5 are flip outs and also flip up and down.  Each has a piece of chipboard from the  It's a Girl Set.

Pages 6 and 7 are double pockets with large photo mats that pull out and journaling cards that pull out as well.

Pages 7 and 8 are flip ups and and a pocket with large photo mats and several flip up pages for several photos.

This is the fun shaker card I made to go with the gift using  Stroller Shaker Set.

 

To alter the chipboard I painted it pin with Acrylic paint. rubbed it with wax rubs and then embossed it with some glittery embossing powder.
