Hello friends! So glad you could join me on the Clear Scraps blog today! I'm sharing a fun project with you today. My favorite colors are turquoise and I also love Patina finishes so today my project highlights those two things!
I started this project by covering the back piece of chipboard with patterned paper that coordinated with the colors I chose.
I then trimmed off the excess and flipped it over to start adding my photos and embellishments.
To give your top frame a patina look you will to ink the frame with a chalk ink or acrylic paint. I used Quick Quotes
chalk in the color Tahiti . You will need several embossing powders, I used a bronze, black and turquoise. After the paint or ink
is dry start adding your embossing powders using Versa Mark Ink. Randomly spread the first color which will be black.
Next color will copper or bronze and final color turquoise.
The final steps will be to add your acrylic to the top of the embellishments frame. Don't forget to remove the film first.
To finish this frame off I made some flowers and leaves and adhered them to the front of the tray.
Hope you give this fun technique a try!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!!
Debbie
