Hello Friends! Debbie with you today sharing a layout I created using Art Anthology Velvets, Colorations, and Minx. Spring is my favorite time of year, there are so many new baby animals being born and there is noting cuter than these sweet little goslings looking for food. To create this layout I used several Art Anthology products. Art Anthology is perfect and versatile for using many different techniques as used in this project.
To create this layout choose your patterned paper.
Create a background using Art Anthology Mud and your favorite stencil. Mud has the texture of modeling paste and spreads so easily.
Once the Mud is dried decide where you want your mats and photo to be placed on the layout.
To give the matting and photo dimension I used pieces of cardboard to bump everything up.
Time to adhere the photo to your background and add some Art Anthology color. The way I like adding color is with a small paint brush. I have more control over where the color goes. To start out I painted some Colorations Spray (Timeless, Salmon) and Velvets (Limeaid) onto my stenciling and then sprayed them with a little water and let them run down the stenciled Mud.
The next step is to add Minx Shimmering Inks (Radiance, Enchanting) using the eye dropper. Drop only a small amount and let it run as you did with in the previous step.
Next is to add some of those same colors using a small paintbrush to the handmade flowers.
To finish off your layout we will be adding a few splatters using Velvet Dimansional paint in Tuxedo. Simply add a small amount to your craft sheet and give it a few sprays with some water . Load you brush and splatter on your layout.
Using the eye dropper from the Minx Shimmering Inks in Immaculate splatter on some more color.
Your layout is finished!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Prairie Rose Cafe today! Hope I've inspired you to create a painted background with Art Anthology's Beautiful products!
Debbie
