Memories Layout with Clear Scraps

Hello Friends, Welcome to my blog!  So glad you could
join us for tutorials, inspiration, ideas on working with so many great Clear Scraps products.  Today I'm sharing a layout with the Clear Scraps Maple Branch chipboard embellishments
using
several techniques, distressing, inking, fussy cutting, altering chipboard
embellishments, and tearing and layering patterned papers.

Starting with the background you’ll be layering two main sheets of patterned paper; the first
sheet is the base of the layout and is a full sheet of paper.

The second sheet is torn about one third away from a full sheet, distress and ink the torn edge
and adhere it to the full sheet, set the remaining paper aside for use on another layout.
To give your layout a layered look tear strips from coordinating paper or scraps and distress the
edges and ink.

Tuck them under your first layer one at a time adhering as you go, this will give your layout the
look of multiple layers.

Matt your photo with a scrap from the paper you are using and tear the bottom. Ink the edges.
To give your photo dimension you can use pop dots, foam tape or squares. Since these are
quite expensive I use squares of cardboard and hot glue, I adhere it to the back of the mat and
then to the layout.

For this layout I used a floral paper and cut around the floral patterns to use as embellishments.
To finish up I used ink, Glimmer Mist and embossing powder to finish the Chipboard.
